Lantern Hollow
★★★★★ 4.6
Lantern Hollow is a calm adventure game with no combat and no pressure. You explore a small village, talk to its odd residents, and piece together a quiet mystery through observation and a handful of light puzzles. It's the sort of game you play with headphones and a warm drink.
The puzzles lean toward logic and curiosity rather than frustration. I only got stuck once, and even then the game nudged me back on track without handing me the answer. The hand-painted art and soft soundtrack do a lot of the heavy lifting.
Best of all, it respects your attention. There's no energy meter, no login, nothing online. Just a few hours of unhurried exploration you can split across several evenings.
