Iron Tide Command

Iron Tide Command is a strategy game that trusts you to think. You defend stretches of coast against waves of attackers, placing units and managing a tight supply of resources. Rush it and you'll crumble; plan three moves ahead and you'll hold the line.

I appreciated that it doesn't hide its systems behind timers. Everything you need to win is on the board, visible and offline. The maps get genuinely tricky later on, forcing you to rethink layouts you'd grown comfortable with.

It's not a quick game — some missions ran twenty minutes — but the satisfaction of a perfectly held defense is real. A good pick for players who like to pause, think, and outsmart the puzzle in front of them.
