Dust Valley Rally

Dust Valley Rally scratches the arcade-racing itch without pretending to be a simulator. You tear through desert tracks, slide around corners, and shave seconds off your best times. The handling is forgiving but has enough weight that mastering a drift feels earned.

Tilt and touch controls are both on offer, and I settled on touch for precision. Tracks unlock as you improve, and ghost runs of your previous attempts push you to go faster. Everything loads fast and runs offline, which made it my go-to for short bursts.

It won't challenge the big racing franchises on depth, but it nails the loop of one-more-run. The sense of speed is convincing, and failure costs you nothing but a retry.
